Safemetrix and myCert at the 10th Health and Safety Conference – SFESE X
The 10th International Health and Safety Conference titled: “Health and Safety – The Way Forward” will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 9:00-16:00, at the Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia, Cyprus.
From SafeMetrix, Dr Luiza Shahbazyan, Product Manager, will join the discussions, with her presentation titled “Beyond Technical: The impact of soft skills on people and businesses”. Non-technical, “soft” skills like the ability to work with others and cope under pressure have been considered secondary to “hard” skills for many years. She will argue that this is changing as the very nature of work is changing. Automation, the complexity of work, multicultural and multi-generational workforce are posing specific challenges that need to be tackled to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the people and the sustainability of the business.
myCert, as one of the sponsors of the Conference, will be the sole platform used for the issuance of all the participants’ Certifications of Attendance, in digital form. Each participant will receive their certificate and furthermore will be able to present it for verification of attendance. All certificates issued by myCert are generated with a unique QR code, which can be scanned by a third-party in order to verify the validity and authenticity of any certificate hosted with myCert.
These features underline the benefits of myCert, and moreover, promote the platform’s non-sustainability and paperless philosophy, thus contributing towards more positive effects on our environment. Moving from paper to digital has a noticeable impact in reducing the use of printing consumables, the energy used in physical distribution and the quantity of packaging waste and disposal.
This is a great honour, to take over this important role in an event such as this one and furthermore to offer the benefits of myCert to the organisers and the attendees.
