
Dr Luiza Shahbazyan to Participate at the 2020 Safety4Sea Limassol Forum
The 3rd Safety4Sea Limassol Forum is taking place on Tuesday 10th of March, 2020, at the Columbia Plaza Venue Centre. Product Manager of SafeMetrix Dr. Luiza Shahbazyan was invited to participate in the event’s panel discussion titled: “Human Element.”
Organised by Safety4Sea, the event is expected to attract many industry officials and stakeholders from the Safety, Technical, and Marine Departments of various companies. For its third consecutive year, the Forum will serve as a networking gathering, bringing together high-profile professionals to exchange perspectives and share their valuable knowledge regarding current maritime-related issues.
As part of the “Human Element” panel, Dr. Shahbazyan, with her presentation titled “Evaluating Soft Skills: The Good, the Bad and The Ugly,” will be defining the correct ways of applying soft skills assessments for seafarers. Her presentation will focus on the importance of good practices, bad intentions, and how these affect the outcome, which may produce undesired results.
At the “Human Element” panel, Dr. Shahbazyan will be accompanied by professionals involved in the industry: Apostolos Belokas, Managing Editor at Safety4Sea, Amalia Marcou, Crew/ HR manager at ENESEL Ltd and Capt. Paris Dimitriou, Crewing Manager & Marine & Safety Superintendent at Petronav Ship Management Ltd.
