
Safebridge is recognised by the Nautical Institute for another year
Safebridge was recognised by The Nautical Institute in 2017 and has been evaluated again on the 30th of October 2018, for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The company was awarded an extension of the Certificate of Recognition for its manufacturer-approved ECDIS Type-Specific Online Training.
The Nautical Institute Recognition Scheme
In order to ensure the high quality to the provision of maritime education and training, The Nautical Institute has established this scheme, where maritime products and services can be formally evaluated and thus recognised for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Training Courses by Safebridge
Safebridge provides officers with the manufactured-approved training courses which can be taken anywhere and anytime with three weeks’ time frame for the completion. All the courses are divided into 3 modules for an easy-to-follow structure. GuideMe – tutorial has a duration of approx. 16 hours and aims to make the user familiar to the equipment. After completing 70% of the tutorial, the user is allowed to enter FreePlay mode and practice freely on the manufacturer’s original software. The final test, when completed, awards the user with a certificate that can be accessed from the TestMe mode.
