Interpersonal skills are essential skills used to build trust, to develop people and confidence, to negotiate, to problem solve, to manage and lead. One of these skills is Assertive Communication. It’s the ability to express your needs, opinions, thoughts in a confident manner as opposed to an aggressive or passive manner. Assertive communication builds confidence as the course creates self awareness and helps the learner decide which communication technique to use and when.

Understand the different ways with which we communicate and their impact.
Be able to pick and choose which technique to use, according to the situation.
Learn specific assertiveness techniques.
Learn how to express yourself with clarity and confidence as well as how to handle any manipulative or aggressive responses coming from the others.
